Hundreds lined White Bear Avenue to get a glimpse of American's new gymnastics superstar.
Sunisa Lee smiled the whole way, waving from on top of a St. Paul fire truck festooned with the American Flag and surrounded by an escort of two Ramsey County sheriff's vehicles.
She was able to thank everyone when the parade ended at Aldrich Arena.
"Oh my god, I'm going to get emotional," she told the crowd. "I'm so overwhelmed and I really feel, like, all the love and support that all you have given me."
Another gold medalist from Minnesota arrived home from Tokyo on Sunday.
