If you're in need of an Uber or Lyft ride Thursday, you could be in trouble.

Members of the Minnesota Uber/Lyft Drivers Association are going to be picketing at the Minneapolis St Paul International airport demanding better wages and working conditions.

Drivers say they will log off their rideshare apps between 1:00 and 6:00 Thursday afternoon and evening.

Minnesota Uber/Lyft Drivers Association (MULDA) founder Eid Ali says this is was just a matter of time given current conditions for drivers.

"We know that they have been suffering and lately, people were not making enough to feed their families," says Ali. "I know what everybody's going through and that's why we've (been) fighting up until today. That's why we want to make sure that those drivers get something in the near future."

While picketing at the airport, the boycott could effect anyone needing the service.

This comes just a day after Sun Country flight attendants picketed at the airport asking for a raise, and saying they were not receiving their "fair share."
