Every year on News Talk 830 WCCO, we try to give some of our folks the Christmas holiday off and bring you, our listeners, some special holiday magic.
Once again in 2025, we are proud to present our Christmas programming which is again highlighted by some special programming and music from CBS News, a brand-new holiday special concert with holiday music on the piano, and of course some of those classic programs and funny bits from over 100 years of WCCO's history.
You'll hear Dave Lee, Boone and Erickson, Howard Viken, Tim Russell, Clellen Card (Axel), Cedric Adams, Joe McFarlin, Paul Stagg, plus our annual reading of "The Christmas Box," some holiday specials from the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and a country music holiday special.
Here's what you can expect to hear starting Christmas Eve at noon and running through Christmas night at 9:00 p.m. We hope you'll tune your radio to 830 AM, 102.9-2 FM, or the Audacy App and join us for this special holiday programming. Merry Christmas and a happy New Year from all of us at News Talk 830 WCCO!
