The team added Byron Buxton to the 10-day injured list today, but manager Rocco Baldelli tells the Star Tribune the star center fielder is likely out for weeks.
Buxton suffered a grade-two hip strain in Thursday's loss to the Texas Rangers.
Buxton was the American League Player of the Month for April, and he leads the Twins in most meaningful offensive categories.
