Minnesota's second district race was a tight one, but incumbent Angie Craig came back from an early deficit and and is claiming victory over challenger Tyler Kistner.
Craig took 48% of the votes with Kistner at 46%, and were separated by just 9,000 votes overall according to the Secretary of State website, with 100% reporting.
Adam Weeks, the Legal Marijuana Now Party candidate who died unexpectedly in September, had a clear impact too. As of Wednesday morning, 24,483 had cast their ballots for Weeks. Leaving Weeks on the ballot lead to several legal challenges, with Kistner trying to delay it until a special election could be held in February.
