Among the roster moves on Tuesday included the Bills placing veteran cornerback Tre'Davious White on the Reserve/PUP list as he continues his recovery from a torn ACL suffered Thanksgiving night against the New Orleans Saints.

While this means White is set to miss, at least, the first four games of the season, Beane says the 27-year-old is in a good spot and is working hard to get back in a timely matter.

"Remember, it's a long season, so he'll still play a considerable amount of games, and far he's experienced no setbacks," said Beane of his All-Pro cornerback. "We'll start trying to get him ready as soon as he is able. He's still doing all the drills that you saw him doing in training camp."

Even though he's only slated to miss four games to start, it still may take White a few additional weeks before he's able to play in a live game.

Beane also spoke on the challenge of needing to make cuts to the roster, with one of the more notable moves being the release of veteran tight end O.J. Howard.

"Being in this seat, you have to do your best to pick the best 53, and that's not always easy." Beane said. "[Tight end] was a tough competition after Dawson Knox, and it was a decision that wasn't made until the end of training camp. I would not hesitate to bring back O.J. if the opportunity opened up."

While most of the conversation surrounded moves made by Beane earlier this week, the conversation soon turned the potential of making another addition to the roster in star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

Beckham is recovering this offseason after tearing his ACL in the Super Bowl this past February, but has appeared on Von Miller's Instagram a few times this preseason by way of edited photos of him in a Bills uniform. This left many Bills fans wondering if there was a genuine possibility of the 29-year-old joining the Bills roster this season.

"Anything Von says, I'm going to respect. Von wants to win, so if he offers up anything, I'm going to listen. A guy with his credentials, I'd be ignorant not to," Beane said. "We've talked about guys he hasn't posted on social media before. He even texted me about Sam Martin. 'OBJ' is recovering similarly to 'Tre', they both had the same injury. He's a talented player, but I'm not checking in on him."

Beane cited Beckham's injury timeline and cap hit as factors playing into his decision to not take a closer look.
