Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR 550) - The Buffalo Bills have placed defensive tackle Jordan Phillips on Injured Reserve, the team announced on Thursday.
Phillips underwent wrist surgery Sunday night, just hours after Buffalo's 31-10 win over the Dallas Cowboys at Highmark Stadium.
The move means Phillips in ineligible to play in any of the final three regular season games, and must also sit out the Wild Card Round of the players, should the Bills make it to the postseason. He would be first eligible to return in the Divisional Round of the playoffs.
Also on Thursday, the Bills released their final injury report of the week ahead of Saturday night's game at the Los Angeles Chargers.
Safety Micah Hyde was ruled out for the contest with a nick/stinger, while defensive end A.J. Epenesa, cornerback Kaiir Elam, and defensive tackle DaQuan Jones are all questionable to play.
Elam and Jones remain on Injured Reserve, but both are eligible to be activated to the 53-man roster by 4 p.m. EST on Saturday.
By placing Phillips on IR, the Bills have one open roster spot.
For the Chargers, wide receiver Keenan Allen and defensive end Joey Bosa have been ruled out.
