Buffalo kicks off the season against another AFC giant in the Ravens, who the Bills beat this past year in the AFC Divisional Round of the playoffs in Orchard Park. The Bills came away with a 27-25 win after tight end Mark Andrews dropped the game-tying two-point-conversion attempt in the dying moments of the game.
After the first AFC East matchup of the season with the Jets at MetLife Stadium in Week 2, the Bills return to Western New York for another early divisional showdown against the Dolphins on "Thursday Night Football". Miami's 2024 season was turned upside down in a Week 2 matchup with Buffalo on Thursday night in a 31-10 loss in South Florida.
That game begins a three-game homestand for the Bills early in the year, as Buffalo will welcome the Saints for the first time since the 2017 season in Week 4, followed by another prime-time divisional showdown, this time against the Patriots on "Sunday Night Football".
The Patriots are the up-and-coming team within the AFC East with a new head coach at the helm in Mike Vrabel, and a familiar face for Bills fans, wide receiver Stefon Diggs, making his first return to Buffalo since being traded in the 2024 offseason to the Texans.
The Bills then play one more game in prime-time before the bye week when they travel to Atlanta to face the Falcons in the early matchup of a Monday night doubleheader.
Following the bye, Buffalo will make the rare trip to Carolina to face the Panthers before returning to Highmark Stadium for a rematch with Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 9. The Bills were stopped just short of a Super Bowl against the Chiefs last season in a loss at Kansas City in the AFC Championship Game.
The final prime-time game on the Bills' schedule comes a few weeks later in Week 12 when they head to the Lone Star State to face the Texans on "Thursday Night Football". Last season saw both teams face off in a nail-biter at NRG Stadium that saw Buffalo ultimately fall short late.
The Bills' schedule picks up from there with Buffalo taking on a pair of AFC North teams in back-to-back weeks. It'll first be a matchup with the Steelers in Week 13 at Acrisure Stadium, followed by a home showdown with Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals.
In Week 17, the Bills will welcome the reigning Super Bowl champion Eagles to Highmark Stadium for the first time since the 2019 season.
The last time the Bills and Eagles duked it out was in 2023 when their contest at Lincoln Financial Field went to overtime in a rainy, yet, back-and-forth affair that was won by the home side.
The Bills then close out the 2025 regular season at home against the Jets, which is the last scheduled game to take place at Highmark Stadium, barring the potential of hosting playoff games in Western New York.
The 2025 season is set to be the last played by the Bills at Highmark Stadium. The stadium will be replaced come the 2026 season by the new state-of-the-art Highmark Stadium across the street from the current facility along Abbott Road.
This year's Super Bowl is scheduled to take place on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., home of the San Francisco 49ers.
