Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - Two more of the Buffalo Bills' 2025 draft class have signed their rookie contracts.
The Bills announced on Friday the signing of 2025 first-round pick Maxwell Hairston to his four-year rookie contract, with a fifth-year team option for the 2029 season.
Standing at 5-foot-11 and 182 pounds, Hairston completed his college career at the University of Kentucky as a two-year starter at cornerback, where he played in 32 games and started 20.
In his final year with the Wildcats in 2024, Hairston tallied 19 total tackles, one sack, two forced fumbles, one interception and a touchdown.
While being considered undersized, Hairston brings some much-needed speed to the Bills' secondary, as he posted a blazing 4.28 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine.
The Bills also announced the signing of 2025 fourth-round defensive tackle Deone Walker to his four-year rookie deal.
Walker was a teammate of Hairston with the Wildcats, and was a two-time team captain at Kentucky.
Standing at 6-foot-7 and 331 pounds, Walker started in 36 of 37 career games with the Wildcats, including 35-straight starts from the 2022-24. In those 37 games played, Walker totaled 132 tackles, 22 tackles for loss and 10 sacks, along with 13 quarterback hurries, six pass breakups, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
This now leaves 2025 second-round defensive tackle T.J. Sanders as the only unsigned member of the Bills' NFL Draft class this offseason.
