Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR 550) - It's still early in the week, but both the Buffalo Bills' and Pittsburgh Steelers' first injury report contained quite a few names, and several key players.

For the Bills, seven players did not practice on Wednesday with injury-related issues. This includes middle linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, who is dealing with a hamstring, as well as safety Jordan Poyer, who injured his ribs in Sunday's 23-20 come-from-behind win over the Baltimore Ravens.
For the Steelers, seven players appeared on the report, all on the defensive side of the ball, including five defensive backs.

Austin, Bills part ways
According to league sources, the Bills and wide receiver Tavon Austin have mutually agreed to part ways.
Austin was not happy with his lack of opportunity to get on the field.
The veteran wide receiver and punt returner was signed as a free agent late this offseason and was not active for any of the team's first four games.
