Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR 550) - Buffalo Bills running back Damien Harris is "out of the hospital and resting at home," according to head coach Sean McDermott less than 24 hours after the veteran was taken out of Highmark Stadium in an ambulance with a neck injury.
McDermott confirmed on Monday that Harris has a neck sprain and is also in the league's concussion protocol. However, McDermott says that Harris "seems to be in good spirits."
In the meantime, McDermott says quarterback Josh Allen is considered "day-to-day" with a shoulder injury suffered in Sunday night's 14-9 win over the New York Giants.
"He's certainly sore," said McDermott on Allen, who had his shoulder examined following the contest.
McDermott would not commit to Allen's availability for the team's next game on Sunday against the New England Patriots, just adding they will see how everything goes as the week progresses.
In addition, safety Cam Lewis and cornerback Dane Jackson are both considered day-to-day. Lewis left Sunday's game early with a stinger, while Jackson did not play with a foot injury. As for tight end Dalton Kincaid, he remains in the league's concussion protocol.
