Buffalo Bills wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders was downgraded to "did not practice" at Thursday's practice after being a limited participant on Wednesday.
Sanders missed Week 15's matchup with the Carolina Panthers with the same knee injury that kept him out of Thursday's practice. He was originally banged up during Buffalo's Week 14 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
If Sanders does suit up this Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, he could be in a timeshare with fellow receivers Gabriel Davis, Cole Beasley, and Isaiah McKenzie.

Defensive tackle Vernon Butler also did not practice on Thursday for the second day in a row with an illness. Butler has not been placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
The Bills did, however, activate three players from the COVID-19 list in offensive lineman Cody Ford, cornerback Cam Lewis, and practice squad tight end Quintin Morris.
The team has released running back Antonio Williams to make room for Morris.
Ford had been starting before being placed on the COVID-19 list, but he may be headed for the bench after a strong performance by Ryan Bates in New England.
Releasing Williams from the practice squad will likely make a few Bills fans upset. Many WGR callers over the season have argued for Williams being brought up off the practice squad to play in the Bills' backfield.
Williams' following from fans stems from gaining 83 yards and scoring two touchdowns in his only NFL game, the Bills' 2020 season finale against the Miami Dolphins.
