Pittsford, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - The first full day of Buffalo Bills training camp is in the books at St. John Fisher University in Pittsford.
Here’s a rundown of some of the more notable developments:

Touchdown fest
It seemed like it was touchdown-after-touchdown from the offense in 11-on-11 red zone work, and from all different players. Tight end Dalton Kincaid had three of them!
Keon Coleman, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Tyrell Shavers, Justin Shorter, Frank Gore Jr., and Ray Davis all scored, as well.

Kincaid flashes
Kincaid, going off a very impressive rookie season, was excellent in the 7-on-7 red zone period, finding ways to get open and making the catch whenever thrown his way.

Hamlin a surprise start
One very notable development on the first day of camp was safety Damar Hamlin playing with the first-team defense, alongside Taylor Rapp.
Mike Edwards, who did not participate fully in offseason work, was with the second-team along with rookie Cole Bishop.

Milano does it all
Linebacker Matt Milano, who was limited during mandatory minicamp as he still recovered from a broken leg last season, participated in a full capacity on Wednesday, starting in both 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 work.
Prior to practice, head coach Sean McDermott said the team will “manage” several players throughout camp, including Milano.

Everyone available
Every player on the roster was available to practice as a full participant to start training camp.

Wide receiver update
A lot has been made about the size of the Bills' new wide receivers room. That size showed up early and notably early-on during individual position work when Coleman, Chase Claypool, and Mack Hollins all snagged balls high in the air to show off their catch radius.
Khalil Shakir, who isn’t one of the players with a big catch radius, showed off some terrific hands throughout the day.

Claypool banged up?
Claypool had his leg looked at by trainers toward the end of practice. He appeared to have a slight limp, and did not take any more reps.
He also never left the field, though, which is usually a positive sign.

Watching kickoffs
It’s pretty weird seeing kickoffs with the new rules. Watching the ball in the air, with players not moving until it is caught, is pretty interesting and different.
It’s something every fan should take a look at if they come out to St. John Fisher University.

Beane defends Allen
General manager Brandon Beane was asked about an anonymous NFL executive saying Josh Allen is "overrated". He vehemently and directly defended his quarterback, saying "there are idiots everywhere," and a lot more.

Defensive play calls
McDermott said before practice he has an idea of how he wants to handle defensive play-calling duties this season, and who will do it. However, he still doesn’t want to reveal it publicly.
He said Wednesday he and defensive coordinator Bobby Babich will both do it during training camp. It looked like Babich was calling plays on Wednesday.
Next up:
The team will be back on the practice field Thursday at 9:45 a.m. ET. Offensive coordinator Joe Brady will meet with the media at 9:15 a.m. ET. That session will be carried live on WGR.
