Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - The Buffalo Bills continue to make a number of reported moves on the defensive side of the ball ahead of the new league year and opening of free agency on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
As first reported by NFL Network reporter Cameron Wolfe, the Bills have signed safety Darrick Forrest to a one-year deal.
Forrest had spent the first four years of his career with the Washington Commanders since being drafted by the club in the fifth round (163rd overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft out of the University of Cincinnati.
In those four years, the 25-year-old played 40 games for the Commanders, starting 17 of those contests and registering 137 tackles, two forced fumbles, nine pass deflections and four interceptions.
This past year, Forrest appeared in 10 games for Washington, only making one start and registering just 13 total tackles, playing mostly as a special teams player.
Forrest is set to join a safeties room in Buffalo with the likes of Taylor Rapp, Damar Hamlin, Cole Bishop and Cam Lewis.
