Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - After opening the 2024-25 regular season in Czechia against the New Jersey Devils in the NHL Global Series, the Buffalo Sabres will return to Western New York and play their home opener on Thursday, Oct. 10 against the Los Angeles Kings.
The Sabres will play their first two games of the season on Friday, Oct. 4 and Saturday, Oct. 5 at O2 Arena in Prague. From there, it is unclear yet if Buffalo will play another game between their return from overseas and when their home opener.
Meanwhile, the Sabres have had recent success against the Kings on home ice, winning four of their last five matchups at KeyBank Center.
The rest of the Sabres' schedule will be announced on Tuesday.
