Who says no?
The merits of Adams, who has two more years left on his contract, are obvious. The 7-footer is good for around 10 points and 10 rebounds per game.
The key piece here, of course, is Hayward. His upside is bigger than what you would be getting from Adams, especially when it comes to putting the ball in the basket. But even when healthy, his presence often times seems more like a luxury than a necessity.
