East Rutherford, N.J. (WGR 550) - It was a tough day for the Buffalo Bills and quarterback Josh Allen, losing a difficult game to the New York Jets on Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium.
The Bills lost, 20-17, after a last-ditch effort came up short in the final seconds of the game. Buffalo has now fallen to 6-2 on the season, with both losses coming against AFC East rivals.

Despite the loss for the Bills on Sunday, the team still sits atop the AFC and the AFC East.
Allen had a sloppy-looking finish to last Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers, and that seemed to carry over into this week against the Jets.
The Bills' signal caller completed only 18 of his 30 pass attempts for 205 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions. Along with that, he rushed for 86 yards on nine attempts for two touchdowns.
Following the loss, Allen was very frustrated with his own performance after immediately surrendering a turnover following an opportunity created by the Bills defense in the second half.
"Our defense goes out there, they strain their tails off, get us a turnover in the red zone and I give it right back", said Allen following the game. "That's something I can't do."
While giving credit to the Jets, Allen, once again, held most of the blame against himself and his errors while looking back on the game. He states his errors were what held the team back.
"Its the NFL, these guys that were playing are a good team too," Allen said. "They get paid just like us. Away team facing a crowd, we let them get into it with the play that we had. We made some mistakes [on Sunday], I made some mistakes tonight, and that can't happen."
Allen recognizes that this was a game where there were a lot of different lessons to learn as a player, and as a team. The main lesson being that the team needs to hold itself to a higher standard.
"Made some bad decisions tonight that really cost our team," Allen said. "A lot to learn from, a lot to grow from. But that's not the standard we hold ourselves to, that's not the ball that we play. A lot to look at, a lot to learn from."
