Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR 550) - The Buffalo Bills captured a win in their fourth-straight trip to the AFC Wild Card Round on Monday afternoon, defeating the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers, 31-17, at Highmark Stadium.

With the victory, Buffalo advances to the AFC Divisional Round, where they will host the Kansas City Chiefs for a 6:30 p.m. EST kickoff on Sunday evening in Orchard Park.

The Bills utilized a solid offensive performance from Josh Allen and company, who racked up 368 yards of total offense. Allen, himself, finished with 277 total yards of offense for the Bills and four touchdowns - three in the air and one on the ground.

The Chiefs advanced to the AFC Divisional Round thanks to a 26-7 win over the Miami Dolphins on Saturday in bone-chilling conditions at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

Patrick Mahomes helped lead the way for Kansas City with 262 passing yards and a touchdown, which included eight passes completed to rookie wideout Rashee Rice for 130 yards and a score.

On the ground, Isiah Pacheco carried the ball quite often with 24 carries for 89 yards and a touchdown.

This will be the seventh time the Bills and Chiefs will meet one another since the 2020 season. Both teams have evenly split the matchups overall, 3-3, but the Chiefs hold the 2-0 advantage over Buffalo in the playoffs with wins in 2020 and 2021.

However, this matchup will be the first to take place in Buffalo since the COVID-19 pandemic season in 2020. That game saw the Chiefs coming to Orchard Park, in front of a completely empty Highmark Stadium, and earning a 26-17 victory.

Sunday will also mark the first time in Mahomes' career where he will have to play a postseason game on the road. The 28-year-old has played 15 career playoff games for the Chiefs with all of those games either taking place at Arrowhead Stadium or in the Super Bowl.

Coverage of Sunday evening's AFC Divisional Round matchup in Orchard Park is slated to start at 11 a.m. EST on the official voice of the Bills - WGR Sports Radio 550.
