Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN/WGR 550) – While there has been no finalized deal yet to build a new football stadium for the Buffalo Bills in Orchard Park, the team released a new set of renderings for the facility set to be constructed by 2026.
This latest release comes well over a month after the Erie County Legislature approved a state environmental review for the new stadium on Jan. 19. That officially kicked in a 30-day window to finalize all documents that are part of the stadium deal.

A few days later, the Erie County Stadium Corporation - a subsidiary of Empire State Empire Development Corporation - unanimously approved a general project agreement on the $1.4 billion deal for a new stadium for the Bills. The next step of the process was then a public hearing that was held on Feb. 2 at Erie Community College.
At this time, we continue to wait for a final vote of approval on the stadium deal from the Erie County Legislature that would kick start construction of the stadium. However, the Bills believe official groundbreaking for the new stadium is expected sometime in late April or early May.
This is the second set of renderings released by the Bills during this process, with the first renderings for the new stadium coming back in late October.
