Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR 550) - The Buffalo Bills' roster now sits at 88 active players after the team announced the signing of seven undrafted free agents and three players who tried out at rookie minicamp.
Among the signings announced by the Bills on Sunday is defensive end Shane Ray, who was a former first-round pick of the Denver Broncos in the 2015 NFL Draft. Ray has not played an NFL regular season snap since the 2018 season with Denver, and was last on an NFL roster in 2019 when he signed with the Baltimore Ravens but was cut before the season.
Over the last two football seasons, Ray spent time in the Canadian Football League with the Toronto Argonauts, where he dressed for 18 games. He helped Toronto, in part, to a Grey Cup championship in 2022, but his season was cut short late in the year after suffering a torn bicep.
Isaiah Bowser played five seasons of college football split between Northwestern University and the University of Central Florida (UCF). The running back combined to rush for 2,802 yards on 698 carries and 32 touchdowns.
As for linebacker Travin Howard, he is a former seventh-round pick of the Los Angeles Rams in the 2018 NFL Draft. After spending his first season with the Rams on their practice squad, he played parts of the next three seasons on the active roster, mostly as a special teams asset.
