Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR 550) – The Buffalo Bills have added another piece to their wide receivers room ahead of the 2024 season.

The Bills have signed veteran wideout Curtis Samuel to a three-year deal worth a reported $24 million, with $15 million in guaranteed money, according to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.

The 27-year-old Samuel has spent the past three seasons with the Washington Commanders, where he totaled 132 catches for 1,296 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.

Before that, Samuel spent the first four years of his NFL career with the Carolina Panthers. In Charlotte, he totaled 185 catches for 2,087 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns. Samuel also spent the 2020 season playing under Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady when he served in the same capacity with Carolina.

Samuel was a former second-round pick (40th overall) of the Panthers in the 2017 NFL Draft out of Ohio State University.

This is the second move the Bills have made this free agency at wide receiver. Buffalo has already signed veteran wideout and special teamer Mack Hollins to a one-year contract on Thursday.
