WILKES-BARRE, PA – Music fans can expect big crowds in Public Square this Saturday evening as John Oates of Hall & Oates fame is set to perform a free concert.
The show kicks off at 7 p.m. with a performance by Bret Alexander of The Badlees. Oates and his new group, the Good Road Band, will take the stage at 8 p.m. to play a mix of Hall & Oates classics along with new songs from his upcoming album, which is scheduled for release on August 29.
In anticipation of the event, the city of Wilkes-Barre will begin posting no-parking signs around Public Square late Friday afternoon. Road closures in the area will go into effect at 2 p.m. on Saturday to accommodate the expected crowds.
