The man police say held them at bay at a home in Luzerne Borough for several hours last week was arraigned on charges in connection with the incident yesterday. Police went to the home of 46 year old Jason Evans last Tuesday to serve bench warrants for failing to appear in court and as part of a drug investigation in late February. Police say when they arrived, Evans threatened to shoot himself or anyone else who came after him upstairs in the home. He surrendered without incident after several hours and it turned out Evans did not have a weapon. He faces charges of terroristic threats among others and was released on bail after his arraignment.
