Former President Bill Clinton will be the principal speaker at the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick of Lackawanna County’s 118th dinner when it returns to Scranton later this month. This year’s Friendly Sons dinner will be held March 16 downtown at the Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple, 420 N. Washington Ave., organizers announced Friday. It will mark a return of the dinner to Scranton after decades outside of it, and a return of the event to Lackawanna County after a one-time relocation to a Luzerne County venue last year.
