An arrest has been made in a death investigation in Lackawanna County after an 81 year old man, who was part of a contracted cleaning crew, was found dead at the Dunmore Elementary Center on August 27th. Detectives announced they have arrested 39 year old Christine Hessmiller of Dunmore, also part of the cleaning crew, and charged her with involuntary manslaughter, simple assault, and recklessly endangering another person. Lackawanna County Coroner Timothy Rowland identified the victim as 81-year-old Gary Porter. Hessmiller is jailed at the Lackawanna County Prison.
