A Sunday morning fire destroyed a shopping center in one part of Monroe County. Crews were called to Fountain Court Shopping Center on Route 611 near Bartonsville around 8am. Smoke and flames were showing when they arrived. Fire crews worked to bring the blaze, which involved over a dozen businesses, under control into the afternoon and it reignited several times. A fire marshall is looking for a cause. There were no reports of injuries.
