Heavy rain over the weekend led to flash flooding in many areas. Flash Flood Warnings were in effect on Sunday in effect for parts of Lackawanna, Wayne, Monroe, and Susquehanna counties. with reports of roads flooded out by rushing streams and rivers in Lackawanna and Wayne Counties. Some areas in Wayne County received more than 4 inches of rain. Stretches of Rt 106 in Greenfield Twp and Rt 170 in Mt Pleasant also closed to traffic.
