A Susquehanna County man faces numerous charges after allegedly shooting his mother-in-law in the leg on Saturday. According to state police, 61 year old Thomas Wood of Montrose, got into a fight with his wife and then dropped her off with her mother, Janice O'Brien. As he was dropping her off, he got into another fight with a man and then threatened to shoot and kill him. Troopers heard a gunshot and found O'Brien struck in the leg. She was taken to the hospital to be treated for her injuries. Officials say Wood is locked up in Susquehanna County without bail.
