NEPA- The latest Election 2022 results

It was just after 1am Democrat John Fetterman claimed victory in Pennsylvania's closely watched US Senate race. Fetterman addressed his supporters, saying he's ready to get to work as PA's next US Senator, saying that the people of Pennsylvania didn't let him down and that he won't let them down. But in addressing his supporters, Fetterman's opponent Mehmet Oz, did not sound ready to concede defeat, saying when all the ballots are counted he believes he will win the race seen as crucial in determining control of the Senate.

A race still too close to call in the 8th Congressional district. Unofficial results show Democratic Incumbent Matt Cartwright leading his Republican opponent Jim Bognet. Neither candidate has claimed victory. It would be Cartwright's 6th term in Congress.

As soon as the votes started coming in, Josh Shapiro opened up a lead over Republican State Senator Doug Mastriano. Unofficial results show Shapiro, ahead by a margin of 48 to 37 percent making him the projected winner. Shapiro also pointed out the history being made, with the  election of Austin Davis, Pennsylvania;'s first African American Lieutenant Governor.

In the 113th Legislative District, Democrat Kyle Donahue in unofficial results will be going to Harrisburg to serve his first two year term as State Representative.

In the 118th Legislative District, unofficial results have Democrat Jim Haddock leading his Republican opponent James May

In the 119th Legislative District, unofficial results have placed Republican Alec Ryncavage the winner over Democrat Vito Malacari. The seat became vacant when Gerald Mullery announced he was not running for another term.

In the 120th Legislative District  incumbent Republican State Representative Aaron Kaufer will return to Harrisburg for a 5th term.

Unofficial results in the 121st Legislative District have incumbent State Representative Eddie Day Pashinski returning for a 9th 2 year term to Harrisburg besting Republican Eryn Harvey in her first run for elected office.

Incumbent Republican Senator Lisa Baker will return for her 5th term in the State Senate in the 20th Senatorial District.

In the 22nd Senatorial District, Democratic Incumbent Marty Flynn will begin his first full term in the State Senate.

Incumbent Republican Congressman Dan Meuser has won reelection in the 9th Congressional District.
