Police investigate shots fired in Wilkes-Barre

Police in Wilkes-Barre were called out to reports of shots fired on New Year's Eve. According to reports, police were dispatched to the area of South Hancock St. shortly after 8pm Tuesday night for a report of a male firing a handgun in the roadway, who had fled prior to officers arriving. Surveillance footage showed the suspect firing a handgun as he was walking in the roadway. No one was hurt, and no property was damaged.
