HANOVER TOWNSHIP, PA — A Hanover Township man is facing 100 felony counts related to child sexual abuse material following an early morning law enforcement raid at his residence.
Matthew Kissinger was taken into custody after police officers alongside members of the Luzerne County District Attorney’s Mobile Unit surrounded a home on Luzerne Street.
According to authorities, the investigation was initiated after a National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) cybertip alerted law enforcement that illicit images had been uploaded from an IP address traced directly to the property. Investigators subsequently obtained and executed a search warrant at the residence, resulting in Kissinger's arrest and the seizure of digital evidence.
State and local authorities confirmed that the investigation remains active as forensic analysis of electronic devices continues.
