The Lackawanna State Park Pool Complex will remain open for the season after all. It was announced this past weekend that it would close indefinitely due to a lifeguard shortage. Park officials say that lifeguards from other State Parks will be assisting to keep the pool open. The complex will be open Thursday through Monday 11am-7pm, with the Splash Pad running until 5pm. While officials hope to keep this schedule for the summer, it is subject to change if there cannot maintain lifeguard staffing levels.
