MOUNTAINTOP, PA — An early morning fire caused significant damage to Adelina’s Restaurant & Pizzeria on South Mountain Boulevard.

Wright Township fire crews responded to the scene and initially entered the building with three hose lines to make an interior attack. However, they were forced to retreat due to the intensity of the flames, which led to a roof collapse.

It took firefighters about two hours to bring the fire under control.

A deputy fire marshal from the Pennsylvania State Police will be called to investigate the cause of the blaze.

In an article published in the Standard Speaker, restaurant co-owner Lisa Cummings addressed the future of Adelina's Restaurant & Pizzeria saying “We’re going to rebuild it. We have to,” Cummings said. “We will be back.”
