Pothole repairs will impact traffic on I-81 this week

Pothole repairs are prompting lane restrictions on I-81 in Luzerne County this week. According to PennDOT, crews will be working on pothole repairs between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. on the following days and mile markers: Tuesday 81 northbound between mile markers 174 (Laughlin) to 178 Avoca. Wednesday 81 northbound between mile markers 176 (Dupont/Pittston to 178 (Avoca) and Thursday 81 southbound between mile markers 178 (Avoca) to 173 (Plains).
