In Luzerne County Court Wednesday, a Scranton man who identified himself as a “police officer in Wilkes-Barre” to a woman whose vehicle became disabled in the Back Mountain area was sentenced. 47 year old Paul W. Dolan was charged by Lehman Township police in December of 2023. He pled guilty and was sentenced to one-to-two years at the county correctional facility on charges of impersonating a public servant and a separate offense of receiving stolen property. Dolan’s sentence will begin once he completes a five-to-10 year state prison sentence for illegal firearms possession in a 2017 Pike County case.
