According to the Scranton Police Department, the incident occurred at the Adams High Rise in Scranton. A constable arrived at the building to carry out a scheduled eviction when the tenant reportedly began "jabbing" at him with a small knife.
The constable sustained minor injuries, including small cuts to his hands, as he dealt with the aggressive tenant.
Police arrived on the scene and took the man into custody. While the suspect has been arrested, his identity has not yet been publicly released by authorities. The investigation into the assault is ongoing.
