LACKAWANNA COUNTY, PA — Pennsylvania State Senators Marty Flynn and Nick Miller of Lehigh County hosted a roundtable discussion on Tuesday at Marywood University's Nazareth Student Center to address the growing energy needs of data centers.

The meeting brought together members of the public utility commission and various other groups to discuss the significant increase in energy and resources required to support the anticipated demand from data centers. A key point of the discussion came from PPL, which stated it would need to nearly triple its energy generation within the next decade to meet the projected demand successfully.

The discussion served as an informational session, and no decisions were made during the hearing.
