A 16-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital following a suspected drowning on Sunday afternoon in Bear Creek Township, according to the Pennsylvania State Police. Troopers from Troop P Wilkes-Barre responded to the Francis Walter Dam around 4 p.m. after receiving reports of the incident. Upon arrival, authorities determined that the teenager had entered the water and failed to resurface for several minutes. Following a brief search of the area, water rescue units successfully located the teen and immediately transported him to Geisinger Wyoming Valley for medical treatment. Officials have not yet released any update regarding his current condition.
