A vigil was held last night for the young woman who died Saturday morning, a victim of a shooting incident. Hundreds of family and friends gathered at Sand Springs Country Club in Drums to remember the 17 year old Kassadey Matulevich who was about to begin her senior year at Hazleton Area High School and was a member of the varsity cheerleading squad. PA State Police have charged the alleged shooter, 17 year old Alan Jay Meyers as an adult. He is now facing, among others, charges of criminal homicide. The shooting happened Saturday morning on Sand Hollow Drive in Butler Township. The investigation is ongoing. Counselors will be available this morning starting at 9am at Hazleton Area High School.
