WB Police search for an armed robbery suspect

Police in Wilkes Barre are searching for an armed robbery suspect. According to reports, Police were called to a business along Hazle Street for a reported robbery shortly before 11pm Monday night. The victim told police the suspect entered the business and approached the counter while showing a firearm, then ordered the victim to put all of the money from the cash register into a bag as well as the victim’s cell phone. The suspect then took the bag from the victim and fled the scene, according to police.
