After multiple delays in putting the plastic bag ban into effect, Cuyahoga County initiated the ban quietly last month.
Even though the ban will not be enforced until the end of this year, grocery stores, convenience stores, department stores, etc., can charge customers a fee for plastic bags.
So what does this mean for you and me?
We'll hopefully see less plastic around our neighborhoods, and we can use reusable tote bags and/or paper bags and/or empty boxes to carry our things that would've previously been put in plastic bags.
