What started out has a health monitor for workers changed to a negative for staff members after a company gifted their employees with seat cushions that displayed vitals -- including pulse, posture, oxygen levels and more.

They even recommended times to stand up and stretch.

Nice gesture or nanny state? Some employees weren't feeling so grateful for the alleged gift.

“I felt like I was being stripped naked at work, it was as if they had a tracking device attached to me," a worker said. "All your personal data during workhours, like how long you spend at work, when you’re away, your mood, it’s all the hands of management.” I guess the heart rate would show stress and anger.

The company responded, “We gave the cushions to our employees just to collect more test data, not monitor them.” More here.
