T.I. is facing criticism for a recent Instagram post in which some allege he references the recent shooting of King Von, in defense of his city.
T.I. had the following to say, “Atlanta is a beautiful progressive city filled with black excellence. We uplift each other & win together. Stop coming here to kill each other. That s*** is played out,” signing of the message with “-Managment-.” The post also included a caption, "Handle YOUR beefs in YOUR city. Thx in advance."
Many were outraged by T.I. seemingly disregarding the tragedy. King Von, a Chicago native, was shot and killed outside of the Monaco Hookah Lounge in Atlanta, following an altercation between Von's crew and that of Atlanta-based rapper Quando Rondo.
Although T.I. returned to IG to assert that "My last post had nothing to do with King Von,” it didn’t stop the procession of scathing responses. One of which was of course from 50 Cent, who after a request from Von’s sister, took to IG to weigh in on the matter.
Fif shared a screenshot of Von's sister's IG Story, adding his own thoughts in the caption. "A @troubleman31 you gotta chill, you bugging for saying anything," wrote 50 Cent. "They got casualties this is real s***, I don’t know what you was thinking but re think it now. They are hurting, they love that boy he was a way out. I bet you don’t even realize they will kill you for what you just said. what hood you from again? come on now it’s quiet time.”
