NORTH HAVEN, Conn. (AP) - Seven people, including one child, have been injured in a crash involving a transit bus and a tractor trailer in Connecticut. Fire officials say the vehicles collided at an intersection in North Haven at about noon on Monday.
A total of 17 people were on the CT Transit bus at the time of the crash. The injured were all taken by ambulance to a local hospital with what were described as non-life threatening injuries. Their names and conditions were not immediately available. Authorities have not said what caused the crash and no charges had been filed.
A reconstruction team was working at the site on Monday afternoon.
