(VERNON,Conn./WTIC) - Vernon Police responded to Vernon Center Middle School Thursday to investigate a possible threat.It had been reported that a student made a threat involving multiple students.Another student overheard the conversation and alerted school officials who immediately contacted police.
The investigation determined there was no credible threat to the school. A middle school student was referred to juvenile authorities and will face school discipline.
