Police: Suspect Spit On Officer

SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - South Windsor police say a man arrested for failing to appear in court, spit on an officer while being trasnported to the police department Friday.Shaun Congdon, 26, of East Hartford was pulled over for speeding, when officers determined he was wanted for failing to appear in court, said police.While being taken for booking, Congdon purposely spit on the arresting officer and failed to cooperate with the booking process, said police.Congdon posted a $16,000 bond and is due in Manchester Superior Court February 26.
