Police Investigate Town's First Homicide In Over A Year

STRATFORD, Conn. (AP) — Police continue to investigate a Connecticut town's first homicide in more than a year and a half.

Stratford police say the victim was sitting in a car early Saturday when he was approached by two men who spoke with him. The Connecticut Post reports one of the men opened fire on the car, hitting the victim at least once.


Police on Monday identified the man publicly as 30-year-old Eduardo Concepcion, of Bridgeport,.

The last homicide in Stratford had been on May 27, 2017, when 27-year-old Andre Pettway was shot and later died in the hospital.
