MANCHESTER, Conn. (WTIC) - A police standoff in Manchester on Wednesday afternoon came to a peaceful ending, as police successfully convinced the suspect to surrender.
Police say 18-year-old Daniel Amoboaleng Jr. barricaded himself inside his mother's attic on Elro Street when officers arrived to arrest him in a domestic violence case.
Officers talked him into giving himself up. The charges against him include kidnapping and assault of a pregnant person.
