Connecticut State Police release the name of the Manchester man killed in a crash Wednesday morning on I-84 in East Hartford.
Troopers say Gregory Allen, 55, went off I-84 Westbound near exit 57. He struck a sign and rolled the 2003 Honda CR-V he was driving.
Allen was transported to Hartford Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
The highway was closed for hours and caused a nearly four-mile long backup in the area.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
