And this week figures to be busier than ever with the 4th of July holiday weekend around the corner.

AAA says to expect a lot of company on the roads--2.7-million New England residents, 89% of whom will drive in spite of $5-a-gallon and higher gasoline.

And if you're flying, AAA-Greater Hartford's Tracy Noble says it's a whole different story.

She says delays and cancelations for myriad reasons are stressing out travelers.

Noble says lines at security have been increasing and additional delays heaped on top of that are no help.

She advises getting to the airport at least two hours ahead of expected departure.

On top of that, Noble says those who fly will pay more for airfare.

Lodging and rental cars--if you can find them--are also up significantly, as well.
